- Climbers (useless, if you go on a glacier the guides will give them to you)

- Oral Hygiene Set
- Scissors/Tweezers
- Shaving Set
- Shower gel
- Sleeping bag (only if you sleep in a refuge)
- Camping cutlery
- Swiss knife (if you know how to use it)
- Inflatable pillow
- Napkins
- 2 pillow protectors (you never know)
- Hand towels
- Paper and pen to take notes
- Swimming hat and googles (not used much)
- Swimming shoes (not used much)
- Spare boot laces
- Hairdrier (not used much)
- Lighter (not used)
- Imodium /enterogermina (we did not use them, hygiene standards are high, we had no problems)
- Anti-bite (FUNDAMENTAL, some areas of New Zealand are infested)
- Paracetamol
- Nimesulide (if you use it in Italy)
- Tampons (if needed)
- Medicine against sea-sickness (personally I did not need it, the Wellington crossing was not easy as also the boat tour in Abel Tasman)
- Plasters/ hydrogen peroxide / cotton wool
- Thermometer
