Route description
Nice beach next to Vik-i-Myrdal town, but if you do not have enough time we suggest you to choose Reynisfjara, much more interesting.
It is possible to reach the beach through a simple path on the sand leading to the cliff to the sea. There are a few paths to go uphill on the cliff, but they are quite challenging, please evaluate carefully if you can walk on them. There are a lot of arctic terns nesting on the cliffs, you can hear them flying and croaking all around, really impressive.
Beyond the long black beach, you can look at the Reynisdrangar sea stacks.
