Another beautiful waterfall in the south of Iceland. The name comes form the Skoga river, but it seems it also means say "forest fall". Many people think it is the most photogenc waterfall (it probably means the most touristy one...) along with Gullfoss.
60 meters high and 25 wide, it can be observed from above thanks to a long staircase or from below , where rainbows often appears.
Skogafoss also has its legend: here was buried a treasure that was found by a boy. These tried to drag the chest by tying a rope to one of the side rings, but ring broke and the chest sank. The ring's Chest broke away and was used as a handle of Skogar church.
