Easy ring hike on the mount Taranaki slopes, next to the Dawson Falls Visitor Center. Info about the Taranaki mount can be found in this page.
Short description of the path: leave the car at the Dawson Falls Visitor Center, follow the signs to the Kapuni Loop and enter this pristin forest, enjoy its impressive trees.
Signs lead to the waterfall. The falls can be seen from other observation points along the path. Silver ferns are everywhere inside the forest.
