Route description
This is just a short walk leading to the icebergs created by the melting of one of the southern tongue of the Vatnajokull glacier. This side of the glacier is the Hoffeljokull, there are a few walks on the side rocky slopes leading to scenic views on the glacier.
We just walked to the front part of the glacier, just beware of the huge amount of mud on the shore, one of us was swallowed by the mud to the knee
