The Calamosche beach is one of the most beautiful ones of Sicily. It's part of the Vendicari nature reserve and can be reached only on foot. Here we report the path that starts from outback, but the beach is also accessible starting from the Vendicari entrance walking 2 km on the sand along the coast.

We suggest to leave the car at the paid parking of Calamosche farmhouse, fare is 3 euro all day and you can also use showers when you come back. Walk towards the starting point of the route, a short path towards the sea mainly on a red soil path. Close to the beach, the ground turns from soil to sand, until you reach the stairway leading to the beach. Indications to Vendicari beach are also present.

The day when we traced the path the sea was not calm, but in the past with sun and calm sea we found a real flat transparent pool
