Ariel hut - Mount Etna

The Ariel refuge is placed at the south-west entrance of the altomontana track. You can reach it by car, here we provide the 2025 updated fares:

• Double room: 59 euros/room
• Bed in a dormitory or 4 beds room: 30 euros/person

You can leave form here for the following excursions:

• Monte nero degli Zappini nature trail
• Altomontana path (south west entrance)

You could reach the Ariel refuge also by bike, descending from Sapienza refuge (5,5 km length, 200 meters difference in height), or viceversa you can reach Sapienza refuge by bike starting from here.
