The trail starts from the "Piani di Bobbio", the landing point of the cableway from Barzio (Opening time and tickets info at http://www.pianidibobbio.com/en).

Get off the cableway and follow the trail 101. Go straight on until you see the church and turn left following the track. After a few hundred meters, the trail 101 will lead you inside a wood. Keep walking on this easy trail and turn left at this fork, in a couple of minutes you'll reach the refuge Buzzoni.

We walked for 4 km, with a difference in altitude of about 150 meters uphill. From here, you could come back at the cableway parking area using the trail 24.
