The path starts from Barzio (province of Lecco), at the cableway parking area; there is a sign which indicates wether the Buzzoni refuge is opened or not. Just follow the marks of the trail n° 19, there are a lot of sign leading to the refuge.

During the path, you'll find:

• A farm holidays
• A few springs, this source is not potable, while this other should be drinkable, but we found it dried
• Some torrents (there's no much water in summer)
• Flowers and butterflies
• An impressive wood
• The cross with the path rising from Introbio town

As we went out of the wood, we reached the refuge. We really enjoied this path: the trail is all in the cool of the forest, so it's no hot even in summer. The whole path length is 6 km, with a difference in altitude of about 750 meters uphill
