Route description
A quiet path that starts directly from Peio village, just 6 km long with 300 meters difference in height. It is possible to leave the car next the bell tower, path begins just behind it.
Go left at the first fork to start the easy ascent with the Peio valley panorama on the left. Just 2 km to reach the lake Covel, not exactly the most interesting lake in the area. Keep walk around the lake, crossing a little waterfall on the Rio Vioz stream. The path is in a sort "eight-shape" and the last stretch leads to the San Rocco church and the small II World War Cemetery, witness of that huge tragedy
Once back at the starting point, we suggest visiting the small war museum of Peio.
