White, round sandy dunes just behind the beach, can be reached by a 3 km walk along the seaside. Leave the car in the parking area, in the municipality of Sant'Anna Arresi and walk toward the beach (in the opposite direction there's the harbor).

During the walk you'll find many different landscapes beyond the beach:

• A pine tree wood
• Ponds once used for salt production
• The dunes

Don't try to walk over the dunes, they are really fragile and could stop growing. The beach seems like a desert in spring season, but in summer this place is very crowded.
